  • Recording with a Chrome extension
  • Step-by-step editing
  • Manual redaction
  • Sharing by link and PDF

Record, edit, share

Record

Start the extension and do the job as usual. Every click becomes a step and every step gets a screenshot.

  • Recording only runs when you start it
  • The step count stays visible while you record
  • An interrupted recording is recovered when you reopen it

Edit

Fix the step text, change the order, delete steps you do not need. Move the marker on an image, crop it, draw an arrow.

What you can do in the editor

Steps

Edit text, duplicate a step, reorder by dragging, select several steps to merge or delete. Add tip, alert and heading blocks.

Image

Crop, draw arrows and shapes, move and restyle the target marker. Redact sensitive areas by hand: redaction permanently covers the pixels on the server.

Sharing

Open it to anyone with the link or to the workspace only. Revoking a link closes access within a minute. Download the same version as a PDF.

Who uses it

Frequently asked

Which browser does it work in?

For now there is a Chrome extension. We are not giving a date for other browsers or a desktop app yet.

Is AI required?

No. Recording, editing and sharing work fully without AI. Title and description suggestions are optional and a workspace admin can switch them off completely.

What happens to recorded data?

The data path, retention periods and the commitments we are still verifying are listed with their status on the Security page.

What does the free plan include?

10 active guides, sharing by link, manual redaction and PDF with a footer. It does not ask for a credit card.

Where does the name Izly come from?

From the Turkish word “iz”, a trace or footprint. Every step leaves one and the next person follows it. It also sounds like “easily”, which is what a guide is for.

Show it once. Everyone follows, easily.
